Did Elvis Presley ever wear blue suede shoes on stage?

I`m a 1950s Elvis tribute artist and I am wondering If Elvis ever wore Blue suede shoes on stage in the 1950s and what style of socks he wore as well. I`m singing in a contest in December so I really need a sensible answer before then.
