HELP I’m trying to find a answer relating to the shift of the earths axis from the Chilean Quak. NASA scientists say "According to our calculations, the quake moved Earth's figure axis by about 3 inches. My question is (I was taught that axis are measured in degrees I was in school when Pluto was still a planet, no one landed on the Moon but they said we would have a Moon base by the year 2000, TV was Black & White and our phone hung on the wall) so how many inches are in a degrees?
