Pool vacuum not working properly?

I have a hayford pool vacuum not sure of the model number but my problem is when it gets to a wall it gets stuck. My pool is a pebble tec pool or washed concrete and the vacuum says for concrete only but is it possible it's made for smooth concrete only. Do they make special ones for pebble tec pools? All the gears were checked in the vacuum and it's in working order. Also heard of putting corkerd feet on the bottom of it, do you think this would help? Thanks.
