Do you still need a tv licence if you have no ariel or sky dish?

Yes, you need to have a TV license even if all you watch is Sky or Cable rather than terrestrial TV or even BBC channels. It's very irritating for people with Sky and even those without Sky as there wouldn't be a need for the licence if the stupid BBC aired adverts to pay their way. It's not even as if there is anything worth watching on the BBC anyway.
