It may be a typical question but......?

........... i really need advice! i like a lad, and we talk on msn for hours sometimes an have a right laugh, and we go on webcam and that. Also, one day I asked when the prom was, because my parents want to book our holiday so it doesnt clash, and he started blushing and looking down and said he doesnt know, and was i going and who with. When i said my mates he started smiling again. We hardly see each other at school, but recently he's started saying hi to me and smiling and waving in the corridor. I dont want to make things awkward by saying anything about me liking him, so what should I do? Does he maybe like me ?
