Is it wise for the Obama administration to be attacking Fox News?

Richard Nixon had an enemy list that included journalists. His Vice President Spiro Agnew publicly criticized the media for being negative. They both resigned after being exposed for things that would be considered innocent by today's standards. Should the Obama administration be messing with a cable news service that has the courage to ask the difficult questions?
