How was Daisy Buchanan in the Great Gatsby an example of American Realism.?
Well I just read this book and I think I know what you mean but I am not entirely sure. . .I guess you can say that Daisy always lived life "in the moment" like being a prostitute when she was younger, or "lovinf" Gatsby at his house only to run away with tom... she really seems to not think things out and act. There is this good quote after Tom and Nick meet again after Gatsby death near the end where it says something like tom and daisy do careless stuff then hide behind their money and leave others to clean it up.
