How can the religious ever possess any real morality?

Absolutely. Isn't funny how nearly every religion claims to be the one true religion, and that there are so many conflicting denominations each claiming to be based on a literal interpretation of the same book? One who makes a choice simply to avoid punishment cannot be said to be moral. Religion is not and cannot ever be a source for true morality. It is mind control.
